Kits for Kids 3.0
Through this project, we aim to raise awareness about the difficulties faced by children who need support, including those who are sick and hospitalised. Thanks to the contribution of the classes, VIAC has created a total of 250 activity booklets and care packs gifted to the young patients at KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) and students at Allkin Singapore.

Bridging Hearts
Batch Project 2 aims to promote interaction between students and their grandparents and various elderly in need. VIAC has collaborated with Active Aging Centres who offers active ageing programmes to help seniors stay engaged while aging and HCA Hospice Limited which also provides compassionate, personalised and quality palliative care to patients with life limiting illnesses.

Kits for Kids
First launched in 2023, Kits for Kids is a VIAC-initiated Batch Project that aims to uplift the life of terminally ill children in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital as well as cultivate values amongst children from Rental Hearts. As an initiative, Kits for Kids aims at engaging the Hwa Chong student population in the making of activity booklets, which includes fun activities like crosswords and colouring. The activity booklets, along with colour pencils sets are distributed to children at beneficiaries such as KKH and Rental Hearts. 🩵🩵

CNY Food Drive
During the festive season of Chinese New Year, we aimed to rally the Hwa Chong community to show care and support for those in need, embracing the spirit of unity and inclusivity across all socio-economic backgrounds. In collaboration with CDAC@Taman Jurong, we organised a school-wide food donation drive. Through this initiative, we successfully collected over food packs filled with a variety of essential items, which were distributed to underprivileged families in our community, nourishing both their bodies and their hearts. 🐉🧧

Beyond Labels - Mar 2025
Beyond Labels is a VIAC Batch Project that aims to uplift migrant workers by addressing both the social stigma and structural barriers they face in everyday life. We received nearly 100 letters of appreciation for the migrant workers, each of which was tied to a 100 Plus and presented to them as a token of gratitude. Moreover, each worker also also received a small care pack containing an energy drink, a towel, and a packet of tissues.

These will then be given to the SMRT staff around HCI, as well as the non-teaching staff in school to show our appreciation and gratitude for their service, on top of wishing them a Merry Christmas!!! 🧑🎄🧑🎄

Love Through Our Lens - Feb 2024
The mission of LTOL is to heighten awareness and foster empathy towards the daily obstacles encountered by individuals living with visual disabilities within our student community. Through immersive activities and heartfelt discussions, as well as our very own innovative and engaging Dining in the Dark, we aspire to educate and dispel misconceptions, fostering a brighter understanding of their world. Let's embrace love through our lens, illuminating paths of understanding and acceptance. 👀👀

CNY Food Drive - Feb 2024
During the joyful period of CNY, we wish to galvanise the collective effort of Hwa Chong students to extend their care and support to vulnerable areas of the community, so that we can all rejoice in the spirit of togetherness, regardless of socio-economic background. Partnering with SG Cares Volunteer Centre (VC)@Jurong, we have launched a schoolwide food donation drive, gathering over 50 food packs consisting of a wide range of food items, and donating them to underprivileged families around our community, filling not only their stomachs, but also their hearts. 🐉🧧
